We were delighted to be able to support Thurlbear Primary School as the 2024 charity. We all know how important schools are in shaping our children to be the very best version of themselves so Vintage Picker was happy to help. Often is the case that schools lack funds so we are proud to be able to share the profits from the show to this wonderful school.

Covid cancelled this years event but stall holders were given the option to have a full refund or donate their payment to the Taunton Foodbank. 'Taunton Foodbank is part of a nationwide network of foodbanks, supported by The Trussell Trust, working to combat poverty and hunger across the UK. They help relieve the pressure created by immediate food poverty by providing an emergency supply of food"

2020 Event Charity
Bold & Brave is an exciting new social enterprise project, established by Young Somerset, bringing together young people and the community! The idea for Bold & Brave began back in 2019 when Young Somerset worked in partnership with sen.se (collaboration of Special Schools in Somerset), on a series of 4 pop-up shops, which sold quality goods designed and produced by the learners from the special schools. These young people were also given the opportunity to work in the shop to sell their products and serve customers; empowering them to have an active role within their community, whilst gaining essential skills. 'We support those at risk of homelessness and those who have become homeless across Somerset. With 17 properties, ranging from 24 hour supported hostels and more independent move on accommodation, we house 180 individuals, supporting them through their journey. As well as offering accommodation, we provide tailored support to each client and access to our College, which helps them to gain new skills, add to their CV and boost self confidence."
